"Before I came, I was pretty apathetic. Washington, DC was there, but it was so far away, like an untouchable entity. PANIM has given me the means to make a difference. They have motivated me and educated me. All I need is the dedication…that won’t be a problem."

The George Washington University is located in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of downtown Washington, DC . The campus contains its own Metro stop, many restaurants and shops and a hospital. It is just blocks away from the White House, the World Bank, and the State Department, and is a twenty minute walk from Georgetown.

Dorm
Participants stay at a GWU campus dormitory, a block away from the university's Hillel center, and close to the historic Watergate complex and the Kennedy Center. Participants live in doubles or triples with full private bathrooms, and have kitchenettes with a mini-refrigerator and a microwave.

Hillel
Our educational programs and meals take place at the GWU Hillel building (Jewish Student Center).  The facilities include a kosher dining hall, a library, classrooms, synagogue space and a lounge.  It will give you a great taste of Jewish life on a major college campus.
